[Coral-List] New paper: reef fish-based ecosystem services in the Kuroshio Current region

Dear coral-list members,

I would like to share our new paper quantifying potential stocks of reef
fish-based ecosystem services in the Kuroshio Current region, published
last August as a special feature article (Marine ecosystem services:
Ecological, socioeconomic and cultural sustainability) of Population
Ecology (Wiley).

This paper estimated the latitudinal patterns and relationships with the
biodiversity of potential stocks of three major reef fish‐based ecosystem
services (fisheries production, aquarium fish production, and recreational
diving) at coral habitats from tropical (Philippines) to temperate zones
(Japan) in the Kuroshio Current region (8°37′N–33°24′N).
