Dear Colleagues

Our paper showing an unambiguous impact of 20th century ocean
acidification on corals on the Great Barrier Reef and in the south China
Sea is now published:https://doi.org/10.1029/2019GL086761
<https://doi.org/10.1029/2019GL086761>

Conversely, no impact of OA was detected in corals on protected reefs in
the central equatorial Pacific.

Our study uses coral cores and a numerical model of coral growth to
deconvolve the influence of OA, temperature and other factors on
skeletal density over the last ~100 years.
