Dear all,

I would just like to add my voice to this support. Last month I
participated in the International Marine Conservation Congress (IMCC6),
which coincidentally was also planned to occur in Germany this year. The
organizers did a great job in transforming the event to an online format. I
wrote a short post about this in the Young Ecosystem Services Specialists
(YESS) network's blog, if anyone is interested in knowing about my
experience as a first-timer at an online conference:
https://medium.com/naturewords/my-first-online-conference-5d6b3a1bec0?source=friends_link&sk=9cd5142f14b81883731acb384f627157

I am among those in a "developing country" who would not be able to
participate in ICRS 2020 due to lack of funds. And I imagine the situation
will remain so for 2021...
An online format (or maybe hybrid?) could increase accessibility and save
the organizers a lot of hard work if we expect the pandemic to continue.

best regards,
Carla
