Dear Listers,

Just for clarification, in the last paragraph of my previous post I mistakenly wrote: “Finally, I do mean to denigrate restoration efforts”.

Before I am deservedly attacked by all for this comment, I meant to write that I DO NOT mean to denigrate restoration efforts. . . I am simply trying to understand why some restoration projects seem to be strategically avoiding putting emphasis on the importance of addressing both local and global stressors.
