[Coral-List] Membership criteria for ICRS Awards: Is this who we are?

The awards are from the ICRS to recognize members of the ICRS who have excelled at the criterion of the award. It's not a general award for society at large. If you are so intent at being recognized by the ICRS then by all means join the society and help support its activities with your membership fees.

Some candidates may have been members in the past and now keep working for
coral reefs under voluntarily basis.

The objective of giving an award is to stimulate the outstanding engagement
to coral reefs conservation, not to count how many years we have paid the
membership fee !!!
