ATTENTION STUDENTS AND EARLY CAREER RESEARCHERS:

The International Coral Reef Society Student Chapter is pleased to invite applications for the new role of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Officer. The successful applicant will join an enthusiastic, supportive community of ICRS students to lead our efforts on increasing accessibility and diversity within the coral reef research community.

This EDI officer will work alongside our established sub-committees to increase inclusiveness on our official media platforms, encourage diversity throughout ICRS and the Student Chapter, and create opportunities for discussion and education of equality/diversity/inclusion topics.

Our ideal candidate would have a strong passion for and experience with enhancing diversity in some capacity. Students and recent graduates (2 years or less) with an appreciation for marine science are encouraged to apply. We particularly encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds and underrepresented groups in the reef science community.

Applicants should be willing to serve on the ICRS Student Chapter for at least 2 years. As with all positions on the Student Chapter, this is a volunteer position, and the time commitment expected would be a few hours per month.

To apply, please complete the form below by Sunday, February 28th:
