TUESDAY MARCH 2nd, from 10:00 to 12:00, through the online platform Teams, we look forward to attending with all of you the following seminar:

"Pteropod Shell Mineral and Structure: one of the major calcifiers in the oceans"

On that occasion, a special guest, Prof. Steve Weiner from the Department of Chemical and Structural Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel) will give a seminar on the peculiar shell structure of pteropods and its implications for the rates of dissolution in the marine water column and the distribution of pteropod shells in sediments.
The seminar is provided within the teaching week of the International Doctoral Program FishMed-PhD (www.FishMed-PhD).
