Hello everyone,

The next NOAA Coral Collaboration seminar is *Thursday, May 13th, 2021 from
4:00-5:00pm ET.*

Dr. Pete Houk of the University of Guam will present the following:

*Status Report on MPAs in the Federated States of Micronesia: *The status
report summarizes evaluations for all marine protected areas (MPAs) in the
Federated States of Micronesia. The report also includes the evaluation of
a grouper ban against long-term data. Finally, bans for sharks, bumphead
parrotfish, and Napolean wrasse were assessed. Most results were positive.
Much of the data collection was funded by NOAA's Coral Reef Conservation
Program.
