Dear Coral-list,

There is an opening in my lab for a PhD position in coral eco-physiology and resistance to multiple climate change stressors. The candidate will be based at the University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands.

The PhD student will investigate how fluctuating environmental conditions alter coral resistance to multiple climate change stressors. The project will include fieldwork in extreme/marginal coral reef environments in the Caribbean as well as controlled aquarium experiments. The aim is to investigate whether a history of environmental variability is linked to enhanced stress tolerance.

Start date: early 2022 preferred but negotiable
Apply by: 31 October
