Hello Coral List,

The Florida Coral Disease Response Communications & Outreach Team is excited to invite you to be a part of our inaugural Twitter Conference on the 13th and 14th of September 2022. The conference provides free presenting and networking opportunities for coral scientists and practitioners - from students and early career researchers to those in government agencies and NGOs.

What is a Twitter Conference? Just like a ‘normal’ conference there will be several themed, moderated sessions. Each presenter will share six linked tweets (one per minute) followed by a few minutes of questions. Questions can also be asked after the fact, and the presentation lives on in the Twitterverse for continued sharing and learning.

All participants will receive a detailed guide on how to assemble their presentation, and how to join Twitter if they don’t already have an account.

Abstract submission is now open – the deadline to submit an abstract is August 21st.

To register for updates or to submit an abstract, please visit bit.ly/FlorCorTC<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdMdy8GEpTaV4BLsLzxQUzBDQio_sAQlIzOxjZHoFbeTPewiw/viewform>
