CCMI has scholarship and job opportunities available now for applicants with a variety of different skill sets & backgrounds, with additional internship opportunities available in the near future.

*Bogue Swim Marine Research Scholarship
Available to anyone currently enrolled in a degree-granting graduate program who wishes to conduct their dissertation field research at CCMI. Two (2) US$6,000 grants will be awarded to use towards the costs of conducting field work. The funds are intended to assist with research costs including economy round-trip airfare from the US or UK, room and board at CCMI, boat and lab fees, and other costs directly associated with research conducted at CCMI; they will not support tuition, living stipend, or student loan payments. The aim of the scholarship is to enable young researchers to initiate their field work in the Cayman Islands.

*Operations Coordinator
Responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the Little Cayman Research Centre (LCRC). We are seeking an extremely organized individual who can coordinate a variety of facilities operational tasks and assist with education, operations and research programmes as required.

*Women in Ocean Science Award Internship
Early-career women with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marine science or a related field and scuba certification (preferably rescue level or higher) are eligible to apply. Strong candidates will have experience in field research, reef surveys, GIS mapping, photo and video interpretation, maintaining and calibrating instruments, or other uniquely qualifying skills.

*Head Cook and Housekeeper
CCMI is seeking a Head Cook and Housekeeper who will be responsible for the effective day to day running of the kitchen and upkeep of the facilities at CCMI’s Little Cayman Research Center.
