Dear all,

We invite contributions to our session at the upcoming virtual PAGES Open Science Meeting on 16-22 May:

Using high resolution marine archives to investigate marine climate, marine environment and maritime societies through the Holocene

See the full session description here<https://pages-osm.org/index.php/osm/osm-program/osm-sessions> (Session #18)

We welcome contributions based on the use of high-resolution marine archives to analyse and reconstruct marine climate, the marine environment, and maritime societies, and their mutual interactions, through the Holocene.

We are looking for research based on sclerochronological archives (e.g. corals, bivalve shells, fish otoliths, coralline algae) from marine and archaeological settings (e.g. shell middens), and historical documentary records, coupled with climate and biological models.

Please note that the deadline for abstract submission is very close: 31 January 2022.

Please register and submit your abstract here<https://www.conftool.com/pages-osm-2022/index.php?page=login>.

NB: There will be oral and poster sessions. The talks will be 15 min (including questions). Speakers giving oral presentations will be invited to pre-record their talk; however, the talks will be given live. The posters will be available throughout. Please see the meeting website for more details (https://pages-osm.org/index.php/osm/osm-program<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpages-osm.org%2Findex.php%2Fosm%2Fosm-program&data=04%7C01%7CP.Butler%40exeter.ac.uk%7Ce5f8904d31e943ec325208d9949f3834%7C912a5d77fb984eeeaf321334d8f04a53%7C0%7C0%7C637704233845065806%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=CBV2de3mjgkWvlv%2BowAyCrvZagU22%2Bv99t8sR%2Fg8Je4%3D&reserved=0>).

We are looking forward to receiving your contributions!

Best wishes,
