[Coral-List] Workshop: ICRS Student & Early Career Networking and EDI Event

On Thursday, July 7th from 11:00 – 12:30 CET, the ICRS Student & Early Career Chapter (ICRS-SECC) will be hosting a networking event in separate simultaneous in-person and virtual settings.

The in-person version of the workshop will take place at the International Coral Reef Symposium in the Salon Roselius. It will be led by Kristina Black, Jenna Dilworth, and Nicola Kriefall.
The virtual version will be available at the same using the zoom link below and will be led by Jenny Mallon and Morgan Short. The virtual version of the workshop is open to ALL students and ECRs (even those who are not registered in the conference).

This event will be a collaborative and welcoming space for students and early career researchers to meet with peers in an informal setting. Through icebreakers and games, the workshop will facilitate networking and discussion between researchers who might otherwise not have the chance to meet. We will have an interactive discussion about equity, diversity and inclusion in coral reef science, which will inform our ICRS-SECC aims and initiatives.
