[Coral-List] ICRS Latin American/Caribbean Chapter

Dear Latin American and Caribbean Coral Listers:
Greetings! This is to inform you that the International Coral Reef Society (ICRS) is going ahead with the proposal presented by many of us following the 2016 Hawai’i ICRS to formally establish a Latin American/Caribbean Chapter. In order to accomplish this task we will need to submit to ICRS a written petition with a minimum of twenty (20) interested signing members. This should also include a minimum of six (6) active members in good standing at ICRS.Establishing this Chapter will allow us to have more participation in the ICRS, rise awareness on topics important for the region and apply to different financial support.

¡Saludos! La presente es para informarles que la Sociedad Internacional de Arrecifes de Coral (ICRS, por sus siglas en inglés) sigue adelante con la propuesta presentada por muchos de nosotros después del ICRS de Hawai’i de 2016 para establecer formalmente un Capítulo de Latinoamerica/Caribe. Para llevar a cabo esta tarea, necesitaremos presentar a ICRS una petición por escrito con un mínimo de veinte (20) miembros firmantes interesados. Esto también debe incluir un mínimo de seis (6) miembros activos activos en ICRS.
Establecer este capítulo nos dará la oportunidad de incrementar nuestra participación en el ICRS, hablar de los temas que importan en nuestra región y acceder a diferentes fuentes de financiación.Si está interesado en convertirse en miembro de este nuevo Capítulo Latinoamerica/Caribe, envíenos un mensaje de respuesta privado a:
