Dear Coral-List,

We have a PhD (3 years fully funded) opening at the Freie Universität Berlin in collaboration with GFZ-Potsdam funded through the DFG-priority research program “Tropical Climate Variability and Coral Reefs – A Past to Future Perspective on Current Rates of Change at Ultra-High Resolution”. We are looking for a student to assess the use of boron based geochemical proxies to help us better understand the effects of thermal stress events in the biomineralization of corals.

The main supervisor is Juan Pablo D’Olivo (FU Berlin) in collaboration with Daniel Frick (GFZ – Potsdam) and Michael Henehan (GFZ – Potsdam).
