The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS) via Florida
International University is recruiting for a *Mission: Iconic Reefs
Research and Monitoring Coordinator*. This is a senior research scientist
position that will serve as the lead for all research and monitoring
activities for Mission: Iconic Reefs in the Florida Keys. This position
will be based out of Key West, Florida.

*Job Summary: *Serves as the technical manager for all research and
monitoring activities, and data and information management under Mission:
Iconic Reefs within the Florida Keys. Manages an independent, FKNMS &
partner research and monitoring portfolio. Leads the development of a
robust monitoring framework and data management system and tools to track,
evaluate, and showcase the progress and outcomes of restoration activities.
Advises on potential midcourse corrections and best practices to improve
restoration efficacy.  Responsible for the Mission: Iconic Reefs monitoring
program including the identification and development of monitoring tools
and techniques such as in-water surveys, passive sensors, photomosaics, and
photogrammetry and the execution of the defined activities.

*Advertised Salary:* $90,000
