[Coral-List] protection of South China Sea coral reefs

Thanks to Doug for posting the link to Letter to Science about the South
China Sea, with its call for collaborative action.  Others might be
interested to see the 2016 briefing put out by the International Coral Reef
Society (at that time, the International Society for Reef Studies):

Similar recommendations were made in the ICRS briefing for urgent regional
collaborative action.  Is it time for some action to be taken?. Most of the
countries surrounding the South China Sea are members of the International
Coral Reef Initiative - is this an issue to raise at the next ICRI General
Meeting?
