The Association for Marine Laboratories of the Caribbean is excited to
announce the *2023 Student Grants-in-Aid of Caribbean Marine Research
Program*. Under the program, student awards are available to support travel
and work for students conducting research at AMLC member institutions
<http://www.amlc-carib.org/members/institute_map.html>.

The Association of Marine Laboratories of the Caribbean (AMLC)
<http://www.amlc-carib.org/> is a confederation of more than 38 marine
research, education, and resource management institutions throughout the
wider Caribbean whose goal is to encourage the production and exchange of
research, inform management, advance the cause of environmental education,
and facilitate collaboration among its membership.

This year, the AMLC is offering winners *up to $2000* usd ($1000 more than
in previous years!). Research focused on any aspect of Caribbean marine
science, policy or management will be considered. Evaluation of
applications will be based on scientific merit as well as the likelihood
that the proposed work will foster collaboration and exchange between AMLC
members. The deadline for applications is *April 1, 2023* and awards are
typically announced in June.

Please find the application form, instructions, and requirements attached.
Information can also be found at

*Note that the grants-in-aid program is not tied to our upcoming Scientific
Meeting <http://www.amlc-carib.org/meetings/2023/2023.html>. *
