We are seeking 1-2 motivated and enthusiastic interns in Dr. Ron Baker’s
lab (https://bakerlab.wixsite.com/baker-lab) based at the Dauphin Island
Sea Lab (www.disl.edu). The positions will be full-time summer internships
with possible extensions based on performance. Preferred start date is *May
1, 2023* but can be flexible for the right candidate. Salary is $12.50/hr.

Intern work will be primarily associated with a RESTORE-funded project
which entails a comprehensive monitoring effort of living shorelines in
Alabama. Project goals are to assess the efficacy of existing living
shorelines, test the utility and cost-effectiveness of different monitoring
methods, and provide a set of core parameters that should be consistently
monitored at future living shoreline sites.

Recent graduates (<2 years post-undergraduate science degree) with
experience using GIS applications are preferred. These internships are
available to U.S. citizens and residents only. Interested applicants should
