Dear Vassil,

Thanks for sharing this feature on Archireef. I am the co-founder of the company and serve as the Chief Scientist.

Archireef indeed is engaged in habitat enhancement AND coral restoration. Our tiles are seeded with corals - often sourced from government partnerships or corals of opportunity - to give them a second chance at survival. In addition to monitoring coral health and survivorship, we are employing advanced methods for biodiversity monitoring to answer the question “if you build it, will they come?”.

We are currently seeking international scientific partners for research collaboration - particularly with those who are active in restoration projects around the world. Please do get in touch if you are interested in our solutions.

Happy to answer any questions.

—Dave
