Hello Coral List,

The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS) via Florida
International University is recruiting for three (3) new positions to
support the* Mission: Iconic Reefs (MIR) Field Team*. Mission: Iconic Reefs
is an unprecedented, decades-long approach to restore seven iconic coral
reefs sites in FKNMS.

*Position title:* Research Coordinator II (Coral Reefs - Florida Keys)

*Job summary: *The Research Coordinator II serves as a member of the
Mission: Iconic Reefs Field Team in support of the Florida Keys National
Marine Sanctuary.  Assists in coordinating the day-to-day activities
associated with implementing the MIR monitoring program, including coral
restoration monitoring, surveying benthic and fish assemblages, installing
and downloading sensors, analyzing and archiving large data sets,
restoration site preparation and maintenance. Develops research and
monitoring protocols and supports a variety of other operations associated
with the execution of MIR or other collaborative National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) science projects within FKNMS as needed.

*Location: *Florida Keys - Key Largo or Key West.

*Advertised salary:* $53,000 - $60,000
