Maria Dornelas' lab is offering a 4-year PhD scholarship at the University of Lisbon (FCUL-MARE) to join the ER<https://twitter.com/ERC_Research>C project CoralINT, which focuses on detangling organism-environment<https://twitter.com/hashtag/environment?src=hashtag_click> feedback loops, using a combination of theory and fieldwork<https://twitter.com/hashtag/fieldwork?src=hashtag_click>. The deadline for applying is July, the 6th.

The awarded student will lead their research within the ERC CoralINT work plan, which broadly aims at investigating the relationships between compositional, functional and environmental change, using coral reefs as study system. The student will collect and get access to multi-scale coral reef data and will be asked to identify research questions and analysis to tackle specific aspects of interest within the main aims of the CoralINT project. It is expected from the student to lead experimental and/or theoretical work, participate to field trips, analyse data, write papers and disseminate results.
