List, How do symbiotic algae share foods/sugars with the host polyp? Do they leak or discharge them somehow, or do the coral tissues digest dead or excess algal cells? I haven't see this explained, so I thought I'd ask. Sorry if the question's a little bit basic. Yes, my thinking is connected to bleaching. Andrew
