Dear Listers,

The latest edition (December 2019) of REEF ENCOUNTER, the International 
Coral Reef Society's (ICRS's) News Magazine is available on the 
Society's website at 
http://coralreefs.org/society-publications/reef-encounter/. It can now 
been downloaded without charge by any subscriber to coral_list. This is 
a bumper 90 page issue with articles by both long-term researchers and 
reef managers and students, as well as announcements about coral reef 
conferences and travel and research grants.

If you'd like to get your research better known, please consider 
offering a general style overview article of your research area for the 
next issue, planned for May / June. In addition ICRS's Group Page on 
Facebook now has over 5,600 members and is becoming increasingly well 
used. Why not post the abstract or a summary of your latest publication 
plus a few nice pictures or key figures.
