I’m excited to share this scicomm training opportunity via AGU’s Sharing Science program.

Living landscapes can be understood through Western scientific knowledge and the ancestral knowledge of Indigenous Peoples. In this webinar, learn how geoscience combined with place-based literature and traditional stories supporting ecological research are two examples of how faculty at Arizona State University and Northwest Indian College are elevating how we understand and honor living landscapes.

When: Thursday, 12 August, 2-3 PM ET
Presenters: Ciarra Greene <https://www.linkedin.com/in/ciarra-greene-40370835/> (Nez Perce), Northwest Indian College & Steven Semken <https://isearch.asu.edu/profile/635016>, Arizona State University
