Hi Coral-listers,
See below for an exciting postdoc/research scientist opportunity:
The Baliga group at the Institute for Systems Biology (ISB) is seeking
multiple enthusiastic Postdoctoral (or Research Scientists) candidates in
computational biology or related fields to study how long-term
environmental changes like ocean warming or acidification will affect the
resilience of coral species and key microscopic phytoplankton like diatoms.
Additional projects focus on the study of the adaptation and evolution of
microbial communities. The Baliga group develops computational approaches
to decipher the regulatory landscape of ecologically important organisms
using next-generation sequencing data and dynamical experimental approaches.
