The Nature Conservancy’s Caribbean Division is currently looking to fill two new positions who will provide key support to an upcoming coral reef conservation project entitled “CoralCarib: Pioneering a new strategic approach for conserving and restoring Caribbean coral reef ecosystems that targets Climate Resilient Refugia”. CoralCarib Project Manager
The CoralCarib Project Manager oversees all aspects of implementation for the project “CoralCarib: Pioneering a new strategic approach for conserving and restoring Caribbean coral reef ecosystems that targets Climate Resilient Refugia”, a six-year, €8.52M project to improve marine biodiversity in priority coral reef ecosystems in Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Jamaica, and regionally through exchanges and scaling of activities. They will be responsible for overall administration and execution of the project including development and management of workplans, budgets, monitoring progress, and reporting on project outcomes to the granting agency. They will support the project team liaise with the implementing partners and in adaptive management of project priorities. Policy and Strategic Programs Coordinator
The Policy and Strategic Programs Coordinator supports day-to-day management for tasks under the TNC Caribbean Policy and Strategic Programs Team (estimated time: 50%) and the “CoralCarib” regional project (estimated time: 50%), a multi-year project publicly funded project to improve marine biodiversity, specifically of coral reef ecosystems, in Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Jamaica. This includes planning, scheduling, and executing meetings with geographies and other teams; recording decisions and action items during meetings and tracking progress against team action items; maintaining team files and executing team communications; and supporting the execution of regional projects with administration, operations, or project support.
