biologist/ecologist Assistant Professor positions within the Biology

We are seeking scholars with a demonstrated excellence in marine biology
and ecology with research interests in organismic biology and/or
population/community ecology with a strong emphasis on fieldwork in
temperate or tropical locations. Please see the position description for
the required and preferred qualifications. Additionally, as a large,
diverse, urban university and Hispanic-Serving Institution, CSUN is seeking
excellent teacher-scholars who will transform their fields and who share
our campus commitment to diversity and inclusion. I am writing to ask for
your help with identifying potential job candidates who:

   - Integrate understanding of underrepresented populations and
   communities into research;
   - Demonstrate knowledge of barriers for underrepresented students and
   faculty in higher education;
   - Demonstrate commitment to teaching and mentoring underrepresented
   students;
   - Has experience in or has demonstrated commitment to extending
   knowledge of how to achieve scholarly success to members of an
   underrepresented group;
