We are seeking 1-2 motivated and enthusiastic interns in Dr. Ron Baker’s
lab (https://bakerlab.wixsite.com/baker-lab) based at the Dauphin Island
Sea Lab (www.disl.edu). Intern work will be primarily associated with a
RESTORE-funded project which entails a comprehensive monitoring effort of
living shorelines in Alabama. This internship is designed to facilitate an
in-depth understanding of ecological sampling techniques, subsequent sample
processing, and their practical applications. As such, interns will develop
their skills in data collection and gain valuable field experience. The
position will be a full-time 6-month internship with a 3-month probationary
period, and the potential for extensions based on performance. Preferred
start date is April 15th, 2024 but can be no later than June 3rd, 2024.
Salary is $15.00/hr.

These internships are available to U.S. citizens and residents only.
