[Coral-List] Postdoctoral position in Singapore

The Experimental Marine Ecology Laboratory (EMEL) within the Department of Biological Sciences at the National University of Singapore is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work on a major new project "Shore Protection with Integrated Nature-based Solutions-Eco (SPINS-Eco)". This interdisciplinary research aims to determine the optimal conditions for mangrove, seagrass, coral, and macroalgal establishment and growth within hybrid coastal protection systems in Singapore.

Applicants should possess a PhD, have a publication record commensurate with their career stage, and be keen to develop a highly-productive research programme. Desirable qualities include leadership, strong statistical and analytical skills, excellent writing abilities, and the capacity to work with a diverse group of scientists. This is a 2-year position with the possibility of extensions. Salary range is from 66,000 to 84,000 Singapore dollars per year. Singapore has a low tax environment.
